Job description / Role
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within our Shisha Paradise division. The main target would be big and leading hotels and resorts.
Main responsibilities include:
- Playing an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on- boarding of new clients.
- Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel.
- Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
- Where directed, identify sales opportunities, networking and fact-finding and calling on and closing new accounts.
- Prepare and deliver effective selling presentations that implement approved Customer Business Plans;
- Develop timely and accurate forecasts (volume and spend) for assigned accounts and revise throughout the year.
- Maintains and develops accurate knowledge of assigned accounts and/or industries;
- Receiving and making after sales courtesy calls to key accounts to ensure a high level of satisfaction;
- Acts as the key interface between the client(s), Operations Management of Shisha Paradise and the warehouse.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business , Marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4 plus years of Key Account or Sales experience in the hotel industry, hospitality. Experience in the Shisha is a plus.
- Strong track record of success in developing new sales strategies and driving results.
- High degree of personal initiative.
- Arabic speaking is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license.
