The Role


The Role


Responsible for the effective account management and development of existing clients. The Account Manager manages a portfolio of clients, revenue targets and projects and has a team to support them. This role also provides an opportunity for new business development of potential clients
In performing this role successfully you would be working in collaboration with and performing the following tasks:

•Management of existing clients needs; handling day to day client requests and requirements in the most appropriate manner.
•Creation and delivery of regular presentations and on-site sessions
•Interpreting, analysing and presenting data to clients, assisting them in making strategic and trade marketing decisions.
•Development of existing clients – both commercially and from a panel application perspective – through training, added value/issue driven presentations and the identification of revenue opportunities.
•Contributing to revenue forecasting and achievement of targets
•Identifying commercial opportunities and exploiting them to improve client service
•Involvement in new business development of potential clients.

Candidate Specification:

Perquisites:

1.Degree in marketing, statistics, commerce or any other related field
2.At least 4 years experience in the workplace managing teams ideally within the Market Research or Marketing field
3.Experience in a client service role or relevant commercial experience in brand management, sales or marketing
4.Well developed presentation skills
5.Strong communication skills
6.Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
7.Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
8.Flexible approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines
9.Good planning and organisational skills
10.Team player
11.Creative and innovative approach to client servicing (proposals, presentations, training, reports, etc) which add value to the consumer panel service
12.Champions change and improvement
