Account Manager - Client Services - Dubai

The Account Manager will be an integral part of the client services team structure, acting as support and deputy to the Account Director. The AM will also be responsible for the day to day management of key client accounts, becoming an escalation point for Account Manager and Account Executives. In addition to ensuring the smooth management of client accounts, the AM will also participate in new proposal development and associated costing exercises.

The preferred candidate will be self-motivated and have a proven track record in managing and developing client relationships, maximising opportunities and display business acumen in identifying and implementing opportunities to drive revenue for the agency while adding value to clients.

Key responsibilities:
* People Management
* Act as account lead, managing the activities of Account Team in line with agreed deliverables within scope and SLA boundries.
* Assess team workloads and prepare solutions for discussion with Account Director ensuring that individuals remain motivated and being developed while maintaining an excellent standard of work.
* Account Management and Business Development:
* Develop and maintain a good working relationship with client on a day to day basis taking the lead from Account Director
* Management of client and agency expectations, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers as needed.
* Review, comment and update key financial reports for accounts, including but not limited to Debtors Report, GM Report and Rolling Forecast, providing commentary as appropriate.
* Participate in budget creation, review and re-phasing, understanding the overall client, account team and agency-wide implications.
* Identify new opportunities to grow revenue individual accounts, preparing a financial proposal to accompany the initiative, and present to AD for approval before presenting to client.
* Commercial awareness making the right decisions that will benefit the client and the business
* Communication and Collaboration:
* Management of all business communications delegating to Account Executives as and when appropriate
* Manage all internal department briefings and the amends process ensuring reliable, consistent and accurate briefs are completed
* Develop and deliver new project proposals for client.
* Process Improvement:
* Maintain knowledge of existing processes and procedures, reviewing periodically in line with workload reviews, suggesting revisions and their impacts for presentation to AD

Requirements

* The successful candidate should be starting to develop an expertise in Marcomms ideally within the Loyalty space
* You will already have people management responsibility including coaching and mentoring, delegation, resource management and on-boarding
* A proven track record of working in marketing communications in an Agency environment. You should also be used to working under pressure to tight deadlines.
* You will have spent at least five years within a client facing Account Management position
* Business Development experience is preferable with a good working knowledge of sales techniques and client product development
* Analytical and confident in working with data specifically in data manipulation and interpretation
* Excellent influencer with Strong negotiation skills and the ability to challenge the status quo
