Account Payable Supervisor – Saudi National

Job description / Role

POLICIES & PROCEDURES:-

Follow policies and procedures covering all areas of reporting functional activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled and to ensure efficient, effective and deliverables at all times

FUNCTIONAL FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING: -

- Ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Payable cycle
- Provide day to day management of AP staff and motivating and leading the team in developing processes and efficiencies
- Supervise month-end account reconciliations (primarily cash, accrual and prepaid accounts)
- Supervise and post month-end accrual and prepaid entries
- Review invoices to ensure that all the information appearing on them is accurate and complete
- Verify that payable transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Process transaction reports (aging, payment, etc.) after data entry
- Supervise and Maintain listing of accounts payable
- Review updated vendor detailed files (contracts, etc.. )
- Supervise and monitor accounts aging to ensure payments are up to date
- Reconcile vendor statements and make corrections of discrepancies
- Oversees the development and implementation of systems, and controls to ensure that the quality and allocation are properly accounted for.
- Support financial statement audits
- Assist in month-end financial statement close

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:-
University degree in Accounting.

EXPERIENCE:-
Knowledge of applicable account payable and procedures
3-5 years relevant experience in a relevant sector including at least 3 years in account payable.
