Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.
- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
- Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
- Responsible in providing detailed information to various GL accounts.
- Responsible for closing and opening of periods for control and month-end closing purposes.
- GL Master Data Maintenance, Creating Approved GL Accounts, Direct responsible for the changes to be done for GL Account Master Data, Accruals, amortizations and Deferrals for Month-end closing, Passing of entries relating to Adjustments for Month-end closing, Reconciliation of Advances to suppliers, Reconciliation of HR Employees loan/advances entries against the GL balances.
- Coordination with Accounts Payable Accountant on Month-end closing,Coordination with Accounts Receivable Accountant on Month-end closing,Coordination with Treasury Accountant on Month-end closing, Coordination with Cost Accountant on Month-end closing, Directly responsible for providing various statutory Financial Statements as well as those required by Partners.
- Responsible for closing and opening of periods for control and month-end closing purposes.
- Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports
- Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in accounting, three to five years of accounting experience and successful completion of CPA exams.
- Proven accounting skills and knowledge of various accounting standards
- Proficient in operating on SAP FICO and other related modules.
- Should possess exception analytical skills and should have hands on experience of accounting and reporting.
- Good presentation & communication skills in English.
- Good working knowledge in SAP.
- Good interpersonal skills, Good Communication skills. Diligent and able to work under pressure.
