Automotive Finance Shared Services is a department under Automotive handling the back office functions related to accounting for Automotive. AFSS handles Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger Accounting, Reconciliations, Sales Accounting and annual closing and audits for the Automotive Division of Al-Futtaim.We are currently looking to recruit Accountants for Sales Accounting & Controls, Credit Control and Accounts Receivable follow up / General Ledger Reconciliations to be based in our Dubai office. You will be responsible for supporting the Reverent Department Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures with major emphasis on cash control, sales accounting processes and approvals, Branch Visits, Credit Request Reviews and Accounts Receivable follow up and General Ledger Reconciliations.

Specific Tasks to be carried out include:

* Reviewing of daily collection and deposit of cash and cheques and validate excess/short collection.
* Periodic Branch Visits to review cash handling, physical stocks verification and compliance with company policies on Invoicing & Delivery. Ensure compliance with Internal audit recommendations, suggest improvements in the processes and participate in rolling out best practices to all locations.
* Review Credit Applications and complete analysis as per Group Guidelines
* Periodic customer's account Reconciliation and Account clearing.
* Review of assigned GL accounts for reconciliations, trend Analysis, process improvements, streamline processes across automotive companies.
* Reconcile  various GL Accounts, prepare 'action-triggering' schedules and take timely action to resolve issues.
* Review of Trial Balance and prepare reports that would enable analysis of the accounts.
* Provide support for  month-end closing activities

Requirements

To apply for this role you should have the following skills, experiences and qualifications

* Degree in accounting
* Exposure to ERP preferably in SAP
* Experience in front end Financial Control, Analytical and process oriented
* Well organized with excellent communication skills
* Should possess good knowledge of MS Excel and be able to manage large volume data.
* Self starter and a strong team player
