Our embedding in the Al Futtaim Group results in us providing wide ranging capabilities extending to:
* Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance
* Warehousing and Contract Logistics
* Goods Transportation and Distribution
* People Transportation.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to be part of our Logistics team in Jebel Ali.
Specific Tasks to be carried out includes:
* Maintain all aspects of billing. Â Monitor departments revenue on a daily/weekly basis.
* Monthly auto units billing to the customer as per the agreed SOPs.
* Consolidation and reporting of all KPI's and management reports.
* SOPs - review current and complete outstanding.
* Full analysis of shipment creation from a Billing aspect.
* Identification of revenue leakage (additional billing) and determine solutions to avoid in future
* Usage of Fuel control and analysis vehicle wise report
* Analysis of R&M cost and MPC for the Auto Units and provide his recommendation
* Performs discovery and analysis for the purpose of documenting workflow, processes and needs.
* Creates business requirements and analyses functional / technical specification to ensure needs are addressed.
* Assists business in the execution and analysis of SAP users.
* Liaising with Finance Team on all financial and KPI related matters.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
Minimum Experience: 2 years in Finance includes 6 years in Freight Management and commercial &/or operation support
Job-Specific Skills: 6 years in in Freight Management and commercial &/or operation support
Behavioural Competencies: Understand the business to develop / introduce reports and have the operational knowledge to know activities for analysing the financials.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Professional qualification from Accounting, MBA &/or Bachelors Degree in Accounting
