The RoleThe RoleAccountant – Financial Services Co - DIFC This is a perfect opportunity for an ambitious recent graduate (currently studying towards Professional Accounting Qualification), with minimum of 3 years experience, being involved in A-Z Accounting up to Trial Balance. You will be joining a small team of relatively new Financial Services Co operating under Reputable Local Group umbrella. Glamorous DIFC offices will make a nice addition to the package. You will be reporting directly to the Financial Officer and involved in every aspect of general accounting including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the Financial Officer in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. Main Responsibilities: prepare journal entries general ledger operations monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts prepare analysis of accounts as requested assist with year- end closings account/bank reconciliations review and process expense reports assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures |
RequirementsRequirementsTo be successful you must have/be: Bachelor's degree (ideally studying towards professional qualification) Knowledge of accounting principles and practices Knowledge of financial reporting Technical accounting skills 3 yrs minimum previous experience of general accounting |
