Accountant – Payables – Al Futtaim Engineering

Job description / Role

The incumbent will be responsible for all supplier payments

* Receiving and recording supplier's invoices
* Checking the supporting documents
* Checking the calculations
* Keeping the record of retention and advance payment
* Deducting and recording withholding Tax
* Recording the invoices in AP book
* Coordination with head office in Dubai
* Distribution of cheques to suppliers
* Reconciliation of Supplier's accounts

Requirements

Education:
* B.Com (M.Com/ MBA/inter ICWA/CA preferred)

Certifications:
* Inter ICWA/CA preferred

Experience:
* 5 to 7 years experience in Accounts division, preferable in accounts Payable

Technical Skills:
Good working knowledge in Excel and must have worked in any ERP accounting package, preferably SAP

Soft Skills:
* Languages : English, Hindi,  Arabic
* Communication : Highly motivated and strong team player with excellent communication skills
* An excellent customer service attitude and the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner are required.
