Job description / Role
Our client, an Exclusive Cosmetics Company is now looking to hire an Accountant with SAP software knowledge.
The responsibilities are Account receivables, Fixed assets accounting & General accounting.
In account receivables the duties are as follows:
- Follows up sales invoices in coordination with sales dept
- Posts customer payments by recording cash transfer, checks
- Performs account reconciliations
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales.
- Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
- Maintains accounts receivables files and records
- Generates age analysis
- helps in monitoring on credit controls
Fixed assets accounting:
- Records fixed asset acquisition and disposals in accounting system
- Maintains data base record as per group policy
- Calculates depreciation
- Reconciles depreciations in GL and calculation
General accounting:
- Liaises with external auditors and provide financial statements for them
- Prepares monthly closing
- Back up Senior accountant
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in the same role
- Knowledge in financial software : SAP required
- Good knowledge of the IT function, including use of business analytics tools and excel.
- Problem solving/ judgment : ability to observe, think critically and to solve using data,rigourous, reliable (data / meets deadlines), ability to focus
- Agility : Ability to be flexible, responsive, adaptive , efficient communication
