The Role


The Role

1. To assist with the day to day activities within the Finance/Accounts Department ensuring that all tasks are completed effectively in a timely manner;
2. Prepare Journal entries;
3. General Ledger operations;
4. Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements;
5. Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts;
6. Draw up monthly financial reports;
7. Prepare analysis of accounts as requested;
8. Assist with year-end closings reports;
9. Administer accounts receivable and payable;
10. Assist with payroll administration;
11. Bank reconciliations;
12. Review and process expenses reports;
13. Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process;
14. Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures;
15. Provide administrative duties at all times.

To be successful in winning this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
• Strong numerical and analytical skills;
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software;
• Knowledgeable of accounting, finance principles, practices and reporting;
• Technical accounting skills;
• Previous experience of general accounting;
• Attention to details and accuracy;
• Knowledgeable in problem analysis and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent in IT and system skills, proficiency in MS-Office programs;
• Highly organized and able to work under pressure;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and basic Arabic.

Education and Experience:

Work Experience of 2 to 3 years in Accounting in Middle East/GCC
Any Course/Graduate/Discipline Major in Accounting or equivalent
Any nationality, Male or Female
