Leading Western Pro company are actively looking to secure an Accountant with good experince using Sage

A Senior Accountant is required to assist the Finance Manager with the Management Accounts for their accounts

Your main roles and responsibilities will include assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts for the region. This will include the review of the accruals/prepayments/analysis prepared by the company.
- Assist in the production of the monthly payroll for all offices in the region together with acting as cover for the Finance Manager for the monthly payroll process. This is paid in multi-currency and includes processing of appropriate deductions. Reconciliation of the staff loan accounts. Attention to detail is essential.
- Production of the month balance sheet reconciliations for the region to comply with the internal audit requirements.
- Assist in the reconciliation of the monthly inter-office balances - including but not limited to reviewing local charges to see if they can be cross charged and vice versa with receiving cross charges from other offices in the network. Ensuring that suitable internal approval and accurate processing is in place.
- Assist the Finance Manager in the completion of the annual budget and forecasts for the region for the business services functions.
- Assist the Regional Financial Controller with the provision of information required for both internal and external auditors where required.
- Assist the Finance Manager to control and review the petty cash in the region.
- Acting as a back-up to the Accounts Assistant for cheque issuance.

Requirements

- You will be a qualified accountant with experience of producing Management Accounts and payroll.
- You will be a bright, highly motivated, adaptable and proactive self-starter, accustomed to working in a very busy environment.
- You will be able to make effective decisions, manage your own time and make suggestions to improve processes.
- Inter-personal skills are vitally important, as working closely with the firm's finance team, Partners, and lawyers is an important part of the role. You will be confident and influential. You will also have the ability to adapt your communication style appropriately.
- You will be proficient in Sage,Excel spreadsheets and experience of Oracle Financials and Hyperion Planning would be advantageous.
