The RoleThe RoleWe are looking for a young, energetic team player, who is able to work methodically and solve problems with great attention to detail, to become a part of our Finance team. The right candidate will be self motivated, have excellent analytical skills and cope well under pressure, whilst providing first class support to the Chief Accountant and business unit heads. To support the department in providing financial advice, financial reporting and financial control. Be a support for the Chief Accountant while following Workz procedures in addition to other accountancy responsibilities. Your duties will include: • Financial accounting activities (hands-on): o Data entry, accounts receivable, accounts payable, preparation of purchase orders, customer invoices and delivery notes o Management of cash of cash flow, collection of debtors and payments to creditors o Bank reconciliation and cash flow preparation o Inter company reconciliations o Fixed assets o Review of all daily, weekly and monthly reports, forecasts, latest estimates and reporting binders • Reporting & Financial Planning (Hands-on): o Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages o Maintenance of Finance templates and processes, including maintenance of ISO certifications, etc. o Assistance with preparation of weekly cash flow forecast o Liaison with subsidiary companies and business unit / entity heads o Preparation and analysis of annual budgets o Preparation and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (OI, EVA, CF, Turnover-Days) o Internal control review and compliance o Assist with external audit process and reporting |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation: Educated to degree level and/or part qualified by a recognised professional of UK accountancy body – ACA, ACCA, ACMA, AAT Experience: 3+ years experience, preferably in Telecoms/IT/FMCG/Manufacturing |
