Accountant

Job description / Role

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join our team who will handle the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department and maintaining accurate financial records, timely financial reporting,
• Ensures reports/documents are forwarded to auditors and maintains applicable documentation.
• Should have strong knowledge of accounting rules and conventions, International financial Reporting Standards, Financial Management, and Audit procedures.
• Coordinate with the external auditors in connection of interim & final audit
• Ensure compliance with defined accounting procedures and guidelines. Well conversant with managing account receivables and payables.
• Be able to work under pressure, coordinating with cross section teams, should be able to deal with bank related matters.
• Should be self starter.

Requirements

• Holding MBA/CA/ACCA/CMA/CPA/MCOM
• Good Knowledge of accounting software package/system
• At least 2 years of experience in Development, Real estate or contracting companies in UAE/Middle East.
• Excellent communication skills and English command
• Presently located in United Arab Emirates
• Candidates holding valid UAE driver's license.
• Candidates residing or on visit to UAE shall be preferred.
