Accountant

Job description / Role

Reporting to: Managing Director

Objectives:
-Maintains financial records of the company by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
-Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
-Provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects.
-Assisting in submitting timely and accurate financial and regulatory reports.
-Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
-Providing management with monthly management reports
-Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
-Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
-Handling of daily Accounting activities independently (AP, AR, Banks, etc.)
-Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Requirements

University Qualifications: Accounting Degree
Other certifications obtained: ACCA , CMA, CPA
Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum 5 Years experience
Specialist knowledge: Accounting Software Knowledge
Soft Skills and Personality traits: Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Skills
Attention to Detail, Coordination, Thoroughness, Quality Focus, Objectivity
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications like MS Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
