Accountant

Job description / Role

The Accountant operates within defined parameters, prepares accounts and analysis as required. He/she is mainly responsible for sales invoices, intercompany billing, inventories, assets control, contracts etc, and would typically provide support either to a specific division or specific brands.

Main responsibilities include handling:
- Cash book
- Bank reconciliations
- Daily cash position
- Cashflow
- Management of accounts
- Fixed assets
- Bank facilities
- Treasury function in general
- General Accounting activities as required

Requirements

- Must be certified in at least one of the following certifications; ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA intermediate, or CIMA
- Hands on experience in ERP, Advanced Excel, MS Office
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working in the same role in the past
- Must have previous experience in Retail or Trading
- Flexible, must possess strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well with tight deadlines and deliver accurate data
