Accountant

Job description / Role

- Monitor and manage cash flows and predict future trends.
- Review and advise management on the financial aspects of contracts.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations of cost reduction opportunities.
- Research and report on factors influencing business performance.
- Use financial modeling to analyze and forecast the financial outcomes of projects and/or capital investments.
- Coordinate and manage the annual budget process.
- Review and approve all payment transactions: payments to suppliers, reimbursements, payments on account, etc.
- Contribute to competitive bid proposals and formal presentations.
- Liaise with auditors, lawyers, financial experts, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
- Professional qualification or post graduate degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience, including 3 years in a similar role/level at a UAE/GCC based organization in the Manufacturing and industry.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS & IAS.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
