Accountant

Job description / Role

- Verification of cash received through DBRs at all branches and making entries of bank deposits for contract wise cash receipt from individual customers
- Identification of amounts in bank statements of receipts through visa card/ATM and making entries of bank deposits
- Checking that customers cheques deposited into banks has been cleared or dishonored and recognizing entries accordingly

Requirements

- Ensure cheaque is clear, making entries of receipts from corporate customers with identification and settling of invoices for which amount is received; keeping updated customers statement.
- Preparing banks reconciliations and enquiring reconciliation items
- Verification of petty cash expenses

The General Machinery Agencies Company established by the late Sheikh Salahudin Abduljawad was the second company to be awarded a GM franchise eight years later.
