Job description / Role

Salary up to 23K SR package + Healthcare
Al Khobar - KSA

The Accountant position must ensure the integrity of Company’s accounting information by overseeing all components of the general ledger. Also be responsible for preparing financial reports and consolidations in accordance with GAAP as well as Saudi Arabia financial and tax regulations. The successful candidate will be required to perform all routine activities for the day to day operation of the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements to include the monthly balance sheet, income statement and report on changes in financial position/budget variances and maintain related records.
• Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation, closing books monthly and setting up new accounts.
• Responsible for petty cash, AP and AR and banking activities
• Prepare monthly financial reporting package
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, Saudi Arabia and Zakat regulations
• Work with the operations teams to ensure correct inventory management and processes
• Coordinate and disseminate financial information. Monitor and approve inputs, manage information and recommend action based on analysis of data.
• Prepare documents for annual external audit. Responsible for management and audit of all capital information.
• Provide financial analytical reports and KPI to management
• Work with Corporate and Middle East Controller on preparation of monthly financial reports.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA, AAT or CPA desired
• JD Edwards experience preferred
• Accounting knowledge, including use of concepts and principles together with a minimum of five years’ experience with at least two in a similar position in Saud Arabia
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English ( Arabic is a plus)
• Familiar with tax and financial reporting requirements of Saudi Arabia
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
• Innovative problem solving techniques
