URGENT Accountant

My client is recruiting for an Accountant to work in Kuwait

This is a fantastic chance for the right candidate to further their career in the Middle East.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING IN CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES IN KUWAIT.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO START WITHIN 2 WEEKS MAX

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate / Masters in Commerce with additional qualification of MBA or Cost Accountancy

• Minimum 10 years experience in Contracting Industry preferably in Qatar

Requirements

• Knowledge of IFRS and with particular reference to Contract Accounting

• Ability to independently prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements and comparison with Budgets and Analysis of Variance

• Inventory Review

• Ability to understand contracts and ensure compliance for processing Subcontract Payments

• Ability to review and improve Internal Controls

• Monitor Project Cash Flow – Actual vs. Budget

• Procurement Review and Approvals

• Receivable Review – Analysis and Management

Other Requirements

• Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Hands on Experience in using ERP Systems

• Strong Communication Skills

• Team Leader
