The RoleThe RoleObjective: Objective of this position is to execute, coordinate and supervise sales accounting activities of pharmacies located in KSA. Responsibilities: Receipt of Sales (cash & credit card sales) & Reconciliation reports from pharmacies in KSA on weekly basis. Reconciliation of Cash deposits with bank statements on monthly basis. Verification of Sales data in manual reports vs. system. Preparation of monthly sales summary reports with details such as customers, net sales & discount figures onto spreadsheet. Close coordination with pharmacies staff and Branches Managers regarding sales issues. Receive shop sales and deposits, report file. Attends to enquiries related to sales. Processing payments related to office expenses, purchases, construction, employees etc. Recording of invoices after ensuring its correctness, accuracy, compliance with policies, procedures & budget, and accompanied by duly authorized PO, receiving documents. Preparation of checks, telegraphic transfer and bank transfer documents. After review by Finance Director, seek signatures from authorized signatories. On due date, issuance of check to beneficiary after obtaining necessary confirmation. Forward TT to bank for processing & receiving necessary advice from the banks. Periodic reconciliation of suppliers account and seeking balance confirmation from major suppliers on quarterly basis. Journal entries for all disbursements for the month and filing of documents related to payments. Posting of entries in the system. Preparation of Payables Report on fortnightly / monthly basis of cash forecasting. Perform all activities as assigned by the manager from time to time. |
RequirementsRequirements Bachelor degree in accounting. Minimum of 3-4 years experience preferably with a large retail organization. Excellent analytical skills and extremely good with numbers and spreadsheets. Must be bi-lingual -- Arabic and English. |
