About the Job:
Air Arabia is looking for individuals with strong numerical skills and a keen attention to detail to work with the Finance department to maintain all cost related accounts of Air Arabia in order to ensure compliance with Air Arabia policies and procedures, and to meet the requirements of auditors, stakeholders, Board and senior management.

Key Accountabilities:
- The Accountant is responsible for ensuring accuracy in recording and posting of cost elements to enable cost analysis on each of this cost, recording of matched/ approved invoices for payment processing and timely payment processing to correct Bank accounts of Credits/Advances to Staff. In addition, the accountant is responsible for providing updates on Invoices approval all department and ensure payments on due dates. He/she will be responsible for Account Reconciliation, maintaining all payment records and independently handling all areas of costs.
- The job holder must be able to manage and interact with a number of internal and external customers while working independently under minimal supervision.

Requirements

- Must hold a degree in Accounting or Commerce and minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably within the airline industry.
- Strong reasoning ability, critical thinking and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Conversant in MSOffice suite especially MS-Excel / MS-Access or related software
