Job description / Role
Our client is a well-established accountancy and audit firm based in Dubai has a large portfolio of owner managed and entrepreneurial clients that they provide accounting, auditing, bookkeeping and CFO services to within the UAE. We are recruiting an Accounting Manager to lead the team of accountants to ensure that the service delivery exceeds clients expectations.
Only candidates who meet the following criteria will be considered:
- Male Indian, Sri Lankan or South African nationality
- Chartered Accountant
- Experience of working in a senior role in an accountancy and audit firm
- Living in the UAE
- UAE driving license
Responsibilities
- Managing a small team of accountants in the planning and completion of audit, bookkeeping and general accounting services to clients including tax planning and management and preparing statutory year end accounts and management accounting
- Overseeing the preparation and finalization of statutory accounts and financial statements
- Creating management letters at the completion of audits
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant - ACA or CA is essential
- 8 - 10 years PQE as an Accountant preferably within an accountancy and audit firm
- 2 4 years experience gained in a public accounting firm or accountancy firm in the UAE with experience of client accounting, bookkeeping and auditing services
- People management
Candidate Profile
- Indian, Sri Lankan or South African nationality male
- Living in the UAE
- UAE driving license is essential
- Aged between 30 - 40 years
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with new and existing clients
