Job description / Role
The Company
My client, a leading Petrochemical business based in Qatar with revenues exceeding $1billion, are seeking a senior finance candidate from the Oil & Gas sector to join their team. Reporting to the CFO, you'll be instrumental in implementing various change projects and running of a large, diverse finance department.
The Role
The role holder will support the Chief Financial Officer in administering, leading and managing the following sections:
- Financial Corporate Planning
- General Accounting
- Treasury
The Accounting Manager heads up key support functions including accounting, budgeting, financial controlling, insurance, management information reporting, tax and treasury.
Requirements
The Person
- Masters degree from an acknowledged university, plus possibly an MBA
- At least 15 years of relevant finance experience including 5 years at senior level, within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or relevant Industry.
- Certification in Accounting (i.e. CPA, CIMA, etc)
- Leadership and Supervisory Skills are essential.
Salary
QAR 35,000 - 38,000
