Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Statutory Reporting:
- Supervise the accountants team and generate monthly company financial reports from Oracle to ensure accurate statutory reporting and that financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Must have extensive knowledge in operating Oracle and the ability to complete all monthly closing procedures in the ERP. This includes having prior experience and understanding of all Oracle financial modules (i.e. Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger).

HFM Reporting:
- Upload monthly trial balance from Oracle to HFM in line with Group Finance reporting schedule. Regularly liaising with Group Reporting team and having reasonable understanding of using HFM to be able to promote and clear all validation errors. This also includes quarterly submissions of forecast income statement and balance sheet.

Support Management Reporting:
- Extract and run reports from Oracle to provide additional information required for Management Reporting and other reporting needs.

Upload Annual Budget in HFM:
- With a clear understanding have the ability to enter annual budget information in HFM templates. This includes preparing monthly income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement. This exercise also includes the ability to submit the templates and clear all validation errors if any.

Management of COA:
- Have extensive knowledge and understanding of the company Chart of Accounts structure in Oracle. Hence must be able to address and facilitate the needs of users for new account set up.

Risk Management:
- Responsible for overlooking all insurance policies and ensuring adequate coverage is in place for company assets. Provide support to insurance providers and surveyors in the event of any incidents relating to insurance claims.

Stores and Inventory Management:
- Supervise inventory store in charge and ensure that he is maintaining adequate stock levels. Time and again ensure that adequate measures are in place to maintain inventory items.

Other Support:
- Liaise with team and support Finance Manager in providing relevant information and preparing schedules for statutory audit, internal audit and other external parties such as property valuers and bankers.

Requirements

Technical Competencies:
- Oracle 11G trained user in all Financial modules - AR, AP, Fixed Assets and especially GL.
- Aptitude to understand and use HFM as a upload and reporting tool.

Skills & Knowledge:
- Sound accounting background, with preferable experience in real estate and leasing.
- Knowledge on how to apply accounting standards to provide accurate and complete statutory reports.

Academic Qualification:
- Bachelor in Finance & Accounts.

Experience:
- 5-6 Years.
