Besides Toyota, we also hold exclusive franchises for some of the world's top automobiles and automotive products like Hino - Japan's leading heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, Toyo & Chen shin/ Maxxis tyres, GS & Panasonic batteries and many more.

We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the Toyota team in Dubai. The incumbent will be responsible for undertaking specified accounting tasks on a routine basis and to assist in maintaining an efficient financial accounting system in the Company to meet it's business objectives.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

* Assisting the branch accountant in  Control of the branch's accounts and administrative activities
* Verification and submission of sales documents and submission of second sets to AFS for payment from bank
* Assisting the branch accounts Manager in accounting function
* Assisting the branch accountant in releasing Vehicle Custom Certificate (VCC) and sale letter
* Assisting the Branch Accountant/ Accounts Manager in the surprise cash counts
* Liaise with Cashier, debt collector and Sales Coordinators
* Liaison with banks and debtors for the timely collection
* Liaison with AFSS and facilities
* Review of daily collection of revenues and deposit.
* Submission of documents to the managers for Deposit verification.
* Review of PDC's collected and posted.
* P to P billing, accounting and submission of Cheque
* Validate final documents and authorize release of vehicles to customers
* Process customer refunds, follow up for cheque and disburse
* Review periodic physical inventory to match with system stock
* Process credit application for credit customers
* Ensure compliance with accounting and control related procedures & policies
* Create Purchase requisition and follow up for LPO
* Arrange for mortgage release letters for LPO/PDC customers

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

* You must be a Commerce / Accounting / Finance or related field Graduate
* 2 - 3 years relevant work experience
* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
* Arab language an advantage
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
