Today, Al-Futtaim Motors is synonymous with Toyota and Lexus, which enjoy undisputed leadership in the UAE in terms of the largest number of vehicles on the road. Besides Toyota, we also hold exclusive franchises for some of the world's top automobiles and automotive products like Hino - Japan's leading heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, Toyo & Chen shin/ Maxxis tyres, GS & Panasonic batteries and many more.We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the Toyota team in Abu Dhabi. The incumbent will be responsible for undertaking specified accounting tasks on a routine basis and to assist in maintaining an efficient financial accounting system in the Company to meet it's business objectives.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

* Bank Reconciliation - Reconcile bank statements with Ledger, each month, to ensure that the entries are correctly made and no discrepancies exist in the system. The job holder verifies the Ledger entries with the journal entries which are entered by the branch accountants, payment section and also entries made by the job holder on certain accounts, e.g. entries related to bank interest, bank loan, bank transfer charges/commission and clearance of bank reconciliation etc. The Company has dealings with 25 banks but major transactions are limited to 8 banks. Major transactions relate to Revenue, Import and Expenses.
* Bank Transfers - Coordinate daily with Banks with regard to fun transfers made by customers in Company's favour to enable the job holder to credit the proceeds in the Company's account as per laid down policies and procedures along with the involvement of the Sales and Credit Control  Section. The job holder also advises branch's of funds received.
* Daily Vehicle Reports - Carry out printing of Daily Vehicle Reports and distribute it to concerned staff members in the Department and Franchise Deptt. for information and record. These reports give details on daily vehicle sales and profitability, stock movements, invoice registers, used car stock movement, model code change, list of advances deleted/utilised/un-utilised, advance collection, list of parts taken into stock etc.
* Record Keeping - Maintain records on all bank transactions (Revenue, Import & Expenses) including Bank advices for record and future reference. Bank records are kept in proper sequences to ensure easy retrieval and availability. The job holder verifies the Suppliers' statement of accounts to find out the invoices pending for settlement. Subsequently, necessary follow-up is made with concerned locations to arrange settlement with the support of relevant documents.

Requirements

The successful candidate will posses the following qualities:

* You must be a Commerce Graduate
* 2 - 3 years relevant work experience
* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
