Marks & Spencer, part of Al-Futtaim Retail division is a world class market leader in high street fashion. Our stores are located throughout the Gulf.
The first Marks & Spencer store in the Middle East was opened in Dubai in 1998. Other stores followed shortly in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.

2010 will see Marks & Spencer expand further with the opening of new stores in Al Ain, Dubai Mall, Kuwait and Qatar. All stores are large format and carry a wide range of product including Ladieswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Lingerie, Beauty, Home and Food.We are seeking to hire an Accounts Executive for Marks & Spencer - Cairo, Egypt. As an Accounts Executive you will be responsible for ensuring that all business information and accounting figures are constantly monitored & accurately maintained so as to reflect a true and fair view of the company in the Business Financial & Performance Reports

Your key accountabilities will be:

* Verification of store Petty cash reimbursement vouchers for all M&S Egypt stores
* Reviewing expenses accounts for the month and passing necessary accrual entries and maintaining accrual schedules
* Accounting accurately all the inventory purchases on timely basis.
* Raising Local Purchase orders and completing Goods received notes for capital expenditure.

Requirements

As an Accounts Executive you will be holding a Bachelors in Accounting / Financial Management or any equivalent discipline.The ideal candidate will have at least 2- 3 years of experience in a similar role ( preferably retail ).Strong computer skills - including ERP knowledge (preferably SAP) and advanced MS-Excel knowledge. Good analytical, presentation & reporting skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
