Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is one of the largest distributors of electronics in Iraq, and is seeking an Accounts Manager for their accounting department in Baghdad, Iraq.

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for assuring monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports are prepared as per the company policies and that all procedures, process and entries are well maintained.

Job Responsibilities:
-Checking all financial entries on daily basis
-Checking all dealers rebates and discounts
-Checking implementation of credit system on daily basis
-Checking pricing and offers randomly
-Checking cash reports on daily basis and assure cash transfers among branches
-Inter-company reconciliations on monthly basis
-Checking and monitoring all registers such as fixed assets, prepaid and deposits
-Managing dealers balance confirmation on monthly basis
-Managing vendors confirmation on Quarterly basis
-Maintain ERP and assuring data encoding
-Maintaining Masters in ERP
-Checking management reports prepared by the staff before forwarding
-Checking each branch monthly financial reports and assuring reports as per IAS and IRFS
-Preparing monthly consolidated financial reports
-Checking budget reports on weekly basis
-Maintaining ERP system and provide troubling shooting to all branches in coordination with ERP provider
-Training and improving accounts Department staff
-Participating in annual budget preparation

Requirements

Candidate must have 10+ years accounting experience, along with experience in trading. Candidate must be a certified accountant, and willing to work in Baghdad.

Security risk is minimized as location is secure and transport is not required. Package is attractive and includes 2 yearly air tickets.
