Job description / Role
Our client offers the chance to join one of the regions leading banks as an Accounts Payable Manager within the Procurement & Commercial Management Department:
ACCOUNTABILITY
1. Performing the month end closing process and reconciliation of the ledgers
2. Maintain excellent working relationship with external supplier
3. Ensure the Accounts Payable team are replying to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently
4. Provide day to day management of the Purchase Ledger team - motivating and leading the team you will also lead the way in developing processes and efficiencies
5. Performance management of staff and monthly appraisals
6. Regular reporting and analysis to key senior managers in the business
7. Ad-hoc duties to support the business
Requirements
• A good knowledge & understanding of the Accounts Payable function with a minimum of three years’ experience managing the Accounts Payable
• You will have experience of processing and payment of invoices in multiple currencies as well as experience of working in an outsourced Accounts Payable function
• Proven experience within a high volume accounts payable environment
• Confident communicate as this role will involve liaising with various key senior manager of the business
• A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (Understanding V-Lookup, Pivot and Functions an advantage)
