The Role


The Role


*For an operational site (physical operating location) deliver an integrated Site schedule that fosters safe, reliable Site operations.

*Coordinate delivery of Area 6 week and Site 2 week execution schedules in Primavera

*Progress work in Primavera and ensure close-out of Maximo work orders

*Recommend whether to allow CAP activities to enter the 6 week scheduling window

*Recommend which activities to execute when the full activity set exceeds Site constraints

*Recommend whether to approve requests for schedule waiver in the Area 6 week Schedule and 2 week Site Execution Schedule

Coordinate delivery of Area 6 week Schedule and Site 2 week Execution Schedule

*Facilitate Area 6 week Scheduling meeting and Site 2 week Execution Scheduling meeting

*Ensure that the Area 6-week Schedule is fully populated with all CAP activities and is deliverable within Area and site constraints, including POB for offshore installations

*Ensure that all activities have been checked against the required 6 week and 2 week gate readiness criteria

*Support the 6 week and 2 week AP Gatekeeper in assessing schedule waiver requests

*Generate site execution schedules for CAP and non-CAP activities, ensuring resource utilisation is maximised and operational impacts are managed

*Perform resource levelling across all activities in the 6 week to execution timeframe

*Communicate the agreed Area 6 week Schedule and Site 2 week Execution Schedule to all functions and Area personnel

*Participate in backlog reviews and daily scheduling discussions, making updates to execution schedule as needed

Review emergent work

*Review new emergent work: ensure that data quality is high, that all required information has been completed, and that all new work has been assigned to the site or functional teams to plan

*Manage the inclusion of approved emergent work into the Area 6 week Schedule and Site 2 week Execution Schedule

Apply specific Primavera capabilities in support of the Area

*Apply Primavera processes that are consistent with the AP Upstream Recommended Practice

*Update progress on site activities in Primavera on a weekly basis

Drive site execution efficiency

*Review site execution efficiency performance with the site leadership team and propose improvement actions

*Review AP KPI performance with site leaders and drive improvements in AP KPI-1 performance

Diploma or Bachelors degree in an engineering related field

Planning & Scheduling

*Understanding and experience with planning and scheduling concepts.

*Understanding and experience in schedule integration across multiple groups and multiple time horizons.

Technical

*Working knowledge of planning and scheduling tools.

*Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Management and Interpersonal

*Good communication and influencing skills

*Personal understanding and commitment to HSSE.

*Demonstrated success in working within high performance environments.

*Bias for action; takes action before being asked or forced by events; anticipates future situations and plans ahead to meet challenges.

*Proven ability to schedule within constraints and recognize/ resolve conflicts.
