Job description / Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Actuarial Reserving team of one of the worlds leading financial services groups as a Graduate.
As a member of the reserving team, you will assist with the reserving work, and help identify, analyze and quantify financial risk and its consequences - both of which are fundamentally important to our business. Using analytical and mathematical skills, youll work alongside some of the most talented qualified actuaries, as well as liaising with other areas of the business, including Finance and Underwriting. Youll also be shown how to study historical data, assess current risks and create models to forecast the future.
Requirements
A high level of numeracy skills and an analytical approach to work is essential.
Ideally you'll have a strong maths A-Level (minimum A grade) and be studying towards (or hold) a numerate degree.
Excellent team-working, communication and interpersonal skills are also required, as is the desire and motivation to study towards a professional qualification whilst working.
Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics or equivalent.
