Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Provide leadership to the General Services team in order to accomplish departmental goals and objectives.

Manage support services of KEC in alignment with company policies and corporate culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage development, modification, and implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
- Manage, monitor and control the departmental expenditure, within the agreed budgets and in line with the set guidelines.
- Direct staff in planning, coordinating, and providing various support services to all departments, including but not limited to; facilities maintenance, purchasing, company property management, insurance, travel arrangements and logistics.
- Manage all support service activities within current health and safety guidelines and to ensure all accidents are fully investigated.
- Departmental staff recruitment, development, training and management.
- Manage subordinates performance by coaching, mentoring and keeping them motivated, to achieve departmental objectives/score cards.
- Health and safety compliance
- Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; proper planning, monitoring, and appraising employees including initiation, synchronization, and enforcing systems.
- Manage special projects or company events.
- Ensure GS activities meet with and integrate with all requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations and environmental policies.
- Manage reports, attend meetings and contribute to organization strategy.
- Contributes to team effort for accomplishing department/company objectives.
- Achieve financial objectives by proper planning, monitoring and analyzing variances.
- Investigate Internal clients complaints and provide solutions.
- Manage the services provided by the subcontractors as appropriate within the support service function.

Requirements

Minimum Academic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Management or related. Masters Degree will be an advantage.
Working knowledge of the oil and gas sector is a plus
