Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Role Purpose
To provide administrative support primarily to the Regional Compliance Officer, MENA and, where appropriate, to other members of the Compliance Team.

Principal Accountabilities:
Impact on the Business [COMPLETE 3-4 AREAS]
•Manage the RCO’s diary, including planning travel for the RCO within the region and to Compliance EXCOs
•Arrange hotel, visa and car reservations
•Assist the RCO in planning for regulatory visits
•Arrange and attend monthly ACO meetings and quarterly Compliance Briefings with the RCO and prepare minutes to be circulated in a timely manner
•Liaise with the ACOs in the region and collate material for monthly, quarterly and half yearly reports/certificates and any other ad-hoc requests
•Ensure that the RCO is able to meet obligations regarding timing of submission of reports/contributions to committee paper including those to the regulators

Major Challenges:
•Due to the increased demands from regulators around the World, MENA is being asked to contribute to the corresponding number of demands from Group as well as local regulators. The job holder should be able to assist the RCO in distributing requests to the regional ACOs and operate a reliable follow up system to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
At least 3yrs previous administration experience a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint is essential. Good communication skills, willing to work as part of a team and with a ‘can do’ attitude is vital to this job role.
