The RoleThe RoleSalary/Rate: Market Type: Permanent / Contract Start: 1 month We are looking for Adobe Flash / Flex / Java / J2EE / Adobe LiveCycle Data Services developers and a trainer to form a large team to build enterprise-level projects in the UK and/or abroad. The team will be composed of our permanent staff as well as consultants working on a temporary basis. We are an IT managed services and IT resource delivery company who partner large technology corporations, such as Oracle. For instance, we are Sun Microsystems’ largest Advantage Partner across the UK and Europe, where we are based in several of Sun's offices. Our partners in the UK and abroad are leading deliverers for Adobe LiveCycle and Adobe Flex technology bringing new technologies and capabilities to their clients. Our Adobe Flash / Flex / J2EE / Adobe LiveCycle Data Services team will be working on enterprise solutions end to end, which will involve every aspect of the solution process from idea generation, requirement capture and technical design through to back tier, middleware and rich client front end development. |
RequirementsRequirementsIT skills should include the following. • Adobe Flash / Flex development - ideally with ActionScript programming skills • Adobe LiveCycle Data Services Enterprise Suite (LCDS ES) development or equivalent data services / web services, like BlazeDS • Java / J2EE coding skills, especially for the back end / server side. • Database design and SQL development skills • JavaScript programming skills • Understanding of enterprise application development would be an advantage • General interest in Internet-related technologies Developers’ Responsibilities 1. Project Delivery • Development of functional and technical specifications • Software installation and configuration • System / user interface development • System testing • Contribution to project management • User training 2. Support • Provide technical support to clients via the help desk for third party software and in-house developed software, interfaces and functions Trainer Responsibilities • Training for more junior developers to improve their hands-on IT skills that are relevant to this project, addressing gaps in their knowledge and skills • Provide and present course materials • Provide and assess practical exercises |
