Located in Doha, the 600-bedded General Hospital was opened in 1982 and is HMCs largest hospital. It offers a wide range of specialty services including:
- Trauma,
- Emergency Medicine,
- Pediatrics,
- Critical Care,
- Specialized Surgery,
- Specialized Medicine,
- Laboratory Medicine & Radiology.

Hamad General Hospital obtained JCI Accreditation in 2006 and was reaccredited in 2009 and 2012.

Job Requirement:
CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST - Intensive Care Outreach Program

Requirements

- BSc in Nursing (4 years) + MSc in Intensive Care Nursing/ Critical Care Nursing/ Advanced Nursing Practice in Intensive Care / Advanced Nursing Practice Critical Care (classroom study), OR
- BSc in Nursing (4 years) + Post Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing/ Intensive Care Nursing (9 months and more, classroom), OR
- BSc in Nursing (4 years) + MSc in Nursing Management (classroom study).

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will have a proven track record of a minimum of 5 years of working experience in Charge Nurse/Head Nurse position or as a Staff Nurse with preceptor/mentor responsibilities in acute clinical intensive/ critical care settings. The successful candidate has advanced clinical knowledge and skills in intensive care / critical care and is ideally a member of the rapid response team/ code blue team.
