Job description / Role
The Advanced Process Control Engineer would be responsible for working closely with the daily operations of the polymer/utilities units, and provide resources for control related projects implementation,configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of process control.

Responsible for the day-to-day development, support, maintenance and implementation of advanced process control applications, process optimization, process information management systems and alarm databases.
Provide work direction for contract control personnel as required and work closely with DCS technicians. Support the MOC process. Support units by trouble shooting control related issues that impact operations.
Requirements
BS Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in advanced process controls
Relevant work experience in a Refinery/ Chemicals operating plant environment.A minimum of 5 or more years of experience in advanced process controls preferred
Demonstrated experience with regulatory and advanced controls of manufacturing processes
Experience with DMC and/or Real-Time Optimizer
Knowledge of Honeywell TDC 3000 and/or Experion control systems
Able to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, attention to detail, effectiveness, and self confidence
Excellent trouble-shooting skills
Advanced degree in Process Control a plus
