The RoleThe RoleThe Advertising Manager is responsible & accountable for brand development Leads agency team in developing and executing engagement plans Keeps team members focused & enthused about team deliverables Provider of customer and brand passion Advocate for customer engagement, creative thinking Strategist for the divisions Orchestrates all key advertising decisions and activities Provides strategic direction to the agencies & leverages the knowledge of centers of expertise including marketing, CRM, research, field teams, dealers, agencies Works closely with Marketing Manager to develop consumer-centric marketing plans that maximize engagement with a well-defined target (or group of targets) Responsible for supporting research activities that contribute to the development of effective advertising strategies and execution Supports & champions the advertising development process by providing direction and guidance pertaining to print & TV shoots, coordinates activities of agencies, car preparation, production companies, etc Responsible for authoring marketing communications briefs in a manner that is inspiring to the agency, thorough, and captures all of the key pieces of information that meets the needs of both the agency and the marketing team Maintain regional advertising planner Develop & maintain an advertising scorecard, & report results periodically, along with findings, recommendations, insights Manage the consumer influence budget allocated by the marketing managers Continually seek ways to reduce costs and increase returns, through both conventional and unconventional means Interfaces with global teams to ensure linkages and leveraging of information & best practices Conduct agency evaluation(s) Embody the companyˇ¦s core values, and apply these to the advertising discipline (speed, risk-taking, customer & product focus, accountability) |
RequirementsRequirements6 years advertising experience (automotive preferred); marketing & sales knowledge; overall understanding of the region, culture throughout the 11 countries; overall understanding of consumer trends. Very strong multi-tasker; strong negotiating skills; leadership qualities; strong presentation skills; analytical skills; proficiency with common computer applications, effective supervision, delegations Education: Bachelor degree required, MBA preferred |
