The team in Omasco is highly motivated towards trying to provide an excellent customer experience supported by regular training by the franchise Principals to ensure all products can be properly serviced and maintained.

The company holds exclusive distributorship rights in Oman for many world-class brands including Honda, Panasonic, Toyo, Yanmar, GE, Black & Decker, Raymond Weil, Kolber, Dow, Prominent, Culligan, Alba, Aftron, Hamilton Jet and ADNOC.

We are currently recruiting for an Advertising & PR (Marketing) Manager for Honda, based in Muscat. The function of this position is to establish, manage and maintain marketing processes and aspects of the business. This role is responsible for providing marketing strategies, advice and support to the company to enable them to make sound business decisions.

The main responsibilities of the job includes, but not be limited to, the following :
- Mange and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional objectives by designing, implementing and facilitating annual marketing and communications plans of automotive division aligned with strategic and sales goals.
- Conduct and oversee market research to determine market requirements for existing and future marketing and branding campaigns by researching market intelligence, while utilizing corporate and principal operational and business strategies.
- Expand and develop marketing platforms, negotiate marketing support from principals, control and maximize upon annual marketing and communications budget to deliver to deliver strategic marketing and sales goals.
- Prepare marketing activity calendar and budget for the CY and FY. Monitor and control marketing communication budget.
- Manage and report the outcomes of the productivity plans and projects, develop new strategies, and deliver timely and insightful presentations to HOSM, top management and Sales Teams.
- Ensure compliance with all principals CI (Corporate Identity) guidelines across all customer touch points. Oversee business development activities to deliver SBU goals.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support Sales and CRM Teams by providing updated vehicle spec sheets, showroom catalogues, posters and TVCs for customer viewing by Brand. Coordinate with Marketing Staff and CRM Teams in regards to latest press kits and advertising to be conducted in the local market.
- Oversee internal and external corporate communication activities, manage and negotiate with Advertising and PR Agencies. Manage the partnership with approved suppliers relating to Marketing.
- Manage and strategize social and digital media communication for the brand.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Administration. MBA would be added advantage.
- 5-7 years experience in Product Marketing, preferably in the Automotive industry.
- Strong communication (English & Arabic) skills, verbal and written.
- Thorough and detailed planning ability.
- Strong analytical skills with proven People Management Capabilities.
- Ability to be effective and deliver in a fast paced environment.
