Job description / Role
To sell Zawya advertising services to agencies and direct clients in UAE and other GCC countries.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop a business plan in coordination with the Head of Advertising.
• Develop an advertising sales pipe-line for the geographical region of responsibility.
• Generation of sales leads, via a combination of cold-calling, attendance at seminars/events and meetings.
• Meet both individual sales targets.
• Forge successful external and internal contacts and relationships.
• Develop productive, revenue generating initiatives with a focus on new business.
• Prepare and conduct presentations to both clients and agencies
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor degree
• Proven sales record of at least 1 year – preferably media.
• Strong relationship with Advertising agencies in the region, mainly planners
• Strong understanding of the regional online media market.
• Shows initiative and enjoys challenge.
• Good communication skills in English are essential, in both written and oral form.
• Strong computer skills, with attention to detail and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
