Employment: Full Time

Our client, a multi-national media company, are looking for an Advertising Sales Executive for their Dubai office, based in Media City.

Primary responsibility is to sell advertising opportunities while maintaining solid, long term client relationships. Meet assigned revenue number or budget and strategic product goals. Increase revenue, active accounts and new contracts over previous year. Make competitive media calls. Prospects for new accounts on a daily basis. Develop each account to its maximum potential.

Responsibilities and skills include but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain close relations between media agency and direct clients in order to fulfill advertiser needs more effectively.li>
- Coordinate with new and existing clients on a day to day operation to discuss current and upcoming projects.
- Meet and exceed annual sales target.
- Identify market potential by qualifying accounts per product category.
- Initiate the sales process from prospecting, scheduling appointments, making initial presentation, understanding business needs and developing proposals.
- Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new packages, seasonal campaigns and other opportunities that will benefit the clients.
- Obtain and study about the client's products, needs and advertising history in order to offer effective sales presentation and appropriate product assistance
- Responsible in preparing media plans, according to the client's annual campaign.
- Responsible in preparing contract agreements and monitor each placement per product.
- Process all correspondence and administrative duties related to ad sales.
- Attend sales meetings, industry trade shows and training seminars in order to gather information, product updates, expand networks and increase knowledge.
- Prepare weekly and monthly coverage plan, sales forecast and other updates related to ad sales performance.
- Ability to communicate sensibly with clients and provide them with the best alternatives to resolve any disputes.
- Evaluate the risks involved, brainstorm for solutions and address the critical matters to superiors to plan the best alternative solutions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in advertising, business administration, marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or English with two years experience in advertising sales.
- A candidate must possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and writing.
- He/ She must also possess superior interpersonal skills and be able to create a rapport with people of all demographics.
- He/ She must be polished, maintaining a professional, put together demeanor.
- He/ She has to be confident, ambitious and self motivated.
- He/ She should thrive when working independently.
- He/ She should also be a keen listener, able to pick up clues that will help close sales
