Advisory Specialist

Job description / Role

Job purpose:

Provide Product Structuring & Advisory expertise to meet specific clients needs and maintain strong relationship with clients.

Key tasks and duties:
- Determine clients Short Term & Strategic Advisory requirements and prepare proposals to provide services that address these requirements
- Initiate and maintain strategic discussions with clients senior management
- Act as focal point for the group in preparing and completing transaction documents and ensure that deal execution (Advisory or other banking products) is completed to the satisfaction of the client.
- Contact prospective clients to present Advisory expertise
- Develop prospects from current corporate clients, referral leads, or sales or trade meetings.
- Assist team members from other departments to cross sell other banking products
- Review business trends to advice clients regarding business environment and forecasts.
- Develop & Structure and execute Corporate Finance, Equity Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets Advisory Mandates.

Requirements

Experience:
Minimum 8 years Investment Banking Experience

Qualification:
University/College Degree preferably with an MBA, MSc, CFA or CPA or similar

Skills:
Strong Background in Corporate Finance, Project & Infrastructure Advisory, ECM/DCM, Corporate & Financial Structuring, M&A, Private Placement, Equity & Debt raising, and other Investment Banking products.
