Employment: Full Time

The Aftermarket Sales Engineer's role is to manage the sales of parts, service and service contracts to new and existing end users / customers who have purchased Ingersoll Rand air compressors, Hoist & Winches products and to provide technical and non technical in-field support to the end users / customers. The incumbent will be responsible for agreed budgeted sales for parts and service within Dubai & Northern Emirates regions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Managing the sales of parts, service and customer annual service / maintenance contracts for air compressors within Dubai & N.E.
- To develop & install parts and service marketing activities, go to market strategies and customer support package for each new installation. This includes recommended parts stocking, annual service contracts, menu priced repairs and re-man programmes.
- Provide data and feedback to the FAMCO parts product and inventory management team on parts competitors, general and specific market prices, parts availability and parts requirements (old and new) to assist in fine tuning inventory stocking profile.
- Manage and advise on the provision of credit facilities for new and existing customers and monitor the collection of receivables for parts and service within Dubai & N.E. regions.
- Carry out prospecting and conversion activity for existing customers & not using FAMCO parts & service.
- Provide up to-date competitive data from the field on existing and competitor installations through customer mapping in order to develop and enhance the FAMCO database.
- To provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecast of parts and labour sales.

This primarily is a sales role with two key elements 1) providing the key aftersales linkages between the existing customer base and the infrastructure enabling the sales transactions to occur efficiently 2) managing and monitoring the direct sales of parts and service to the end user which is part of the P&L responsibility of the division.

Requirements

- Either a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Good knowledge of the aftermarket (parts & service) within Air Compressors.
- Good knowledge of electrical, control & instrumentation systems, diesel engines & electrical motors (variable and fixed speed) good diagnostic capability and PC skills.
- Minimum 3 years experience within the Air Compressors industry.
- Fluent in English Language
