Employment: Full Time

Agronomic Engineer, Qatar
Salary range: 22.000 to 24.000 QAR according experience

Agronomic Engineer required with well-developed skills and competencies in liaising with the Facility Management of Urban Parks and Gardens to ensure optimal operations, while ensuring that our Clients staff is properly trained and focused on operational efficiency.

Maintaining HSE standards is a key factor for our Clients as they are committed to its highest accomplishment of the European HSE standards.

Work definition:

Keep track of operational conditions and initiate action as required Budgeting cost control, maintenance planning, shutdowns and turnarounds
Liaises with the Process Licensees and equipment manufacturers to ensure quality and on time supplies
Leading a team for maintenance of the facilities
Ensure compliance with Legislation, Health and Safety regulations ensuring safe working practices are in place
Ensure programmed work including plant maintenance, leaf collection, weeding, pruning, edging and other seasonal activities are carried out as agreed
Ensure grass cutting is carried out effectively, using ride-on mowers, pedestrian mowers and strimmer’s
Implement long term management and maintenance plans and ensure all procedures are effective
Communicate reliably with the Client, contractors and other stakeholders including related local authorities and the public, to ensure the specification is met, requests are responded to and problems are resolved
Support and develop staff to be productive and deliver a high standard of work, ensuring staff are adequately trained
Estimate labor requirements for jobs and plan work schedules accordingly
Confer with the staff to evaluate weather or soil conditions, to develop plans or procedures, or to discuss issues such as changes in fertilizers, herbicides, or cultivating techniques
Plan or supervise infrastructure or collection maintenance functions, such as planting, fertilizing, pest or weed control, or landscaping
Maintain time or payroll reports, as well as details of personnel actions, such as performance evaluations, hires, promotions, or disciplinary actions
Assign duties, such as cultivation, irrigation, or harvesting of crops or plants, product packaging or grading, or equipment maintenance
Recruit, hire, or discharge workers Inspect facilities to determine maintenance needs Be responsible for the presentation and security, of the site
Ensure a professional image is presented at all times

Requirements

Bachelor in Civil /Architectural Classified (Grade A desirable)
At least 3 years working experience as Agronomic Engineer in any of the Gulf’s Countries
Computer literacy in AUTOCAD, PRESTO AND PROJECT PLANNING Familiarity with QCS and QA standards and procedures
Be familiar with contract documents.
Able to demonstrate good organization skills English (written and spoken) and Arabic (spoken)
Have previous soil’s compositions maintenance experience
Have relevant understanding of gardening/grounds maintenance with experience of operating of a broad range of garden/grounds maintenance powered machinery
Good Knowledge of palms, trees, large and small shrubs ground cover and seasonal maintenance essential
Good Knowledge of organic and inorganic fertilizer application regime and skills and knowledge of pests and diseases
Be well presented and good communicators
Be passionate about gardening
Hold a full driving international license;
English Fluent, Arabic (is a plus)

Preferable Nationality: Any nationality: Philippines, Sri Lankan, Indonesian, Malaysian or Egyptian
