Job description / Role
Allen & York are looking to recruit an Air Quality & Meteorology Specialist (Asian National) to work for an Environmental Consulting company to be based in Jubail Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company is working on environmental project under the Royal Commission Saudi Arabia.
Total Salary Package SAR 5,300 per month (US$1,400).
Requirements
- The Air Quality / Meteorology Scientist assists the Senior Air Quality / Meteorology Scientist in data processing, data analysis and reporting of air pollution and meteorological parameters measured by the air quality / meteorological monitoring network.
- Duties also include evaluation of industrial emissions through facility boundary monitoring with the Royal Commission mobile FTIR air quality monitoring system.
- Shall be expected to contribute to reports summarizing and interpreting the air quality and meteorological data obtained. Shall be a degree holder in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Environmental Science (or similar scientific or engineering discipline), and a minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience in air quality monitoring, meteorology or air pollution control.
- The Scientist should be familiar with air dispersion models such as Aermod and Calpuff.
- Good writing skills and fluency in both written and spoken English is a must
