Job description / Role
Close liaison with clients/ customs brokers to ensure that they are continually updated on status of the shipments.
Close liaison and to have a good rapport with airlines, BAS and customs offices.
Seek new business opportunities and provide sales leads
Using the system efficiently; generate docs, update status, input costs and issue invoices, send CAN and prepare D/Os
Assist sales team with pricing.
Preparation of quotations and follow up.
Booking of expenses and acknowledge in system accurately.
Contribute to airfreight department's development.
Being a backup in absence of other team members.
Be willing to extra work load as required and beyond working hours and additional tasks if needed.
Experience in customs clearance procedures.
Requirements
University Qualifications: Graduate
Other certifications obtained: DG Certification
