Job description / Role
The post holder will be required to:
• Provide patient focused anaesthetic services and ensure optimal clinical care of patients in the department in line with the clinical privileges granted.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team with a personalised and caring attitude.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to junior clinical staff.
• Help develop and participate in, a postgraduate training program for all clinical staff.
• Renders anaesthetic services in both outpatient and inpatient settings in accordance with evidence based professional standards for the specialty.
• Supports the anaesthetic services on both an elective and emergency basis using methods and techniques compatible with generally accepted professional standards in the specialty.
• Plans and provides follow up care to patients as required.
• Assists other specialty units like Intensive care Unit (ICU) in consultation when required to do so.
Requirements
• MB BS (M.D.) or equivalent as per the list of DHCC
Master Degree in Anesthesia ( from the recognized list of DHCC) only, eligible to apply for DHCC license.
• Minimum 3 years post specialization in Anaesthetics
