Job description / Role
My client, a leading regional bank head quartered in Abu Dhabi, are currently looking to grow their Global Banking Divison in their Wholesale Banking team.
The successful candidate will assist the Associate Director in the Global Project & Structured Finance Department in managing existing asset portfolios, conducting financial due diligence, preparation of high level credit applications and reports and the monitoring of allocated portfolios.
Dimensions of the role:
1. Reporting directly to Associate Director or Manager, Global Project & Structured Finance (subject Line Manager) in all credit and operation matters that concern the day-to-day transactions of assigned accounts.
2. Responsible and accountable for maintenance of an allocated portfolio of assets.
3. Involvement in ad-hoc projects affecting the banks assets, from data management and reporting to secondary sales.
Requirements
Please note that this is an Analyst level position
Arabic Speaker.
Bachelor's Degree in Business & Banking Management.
Sound knowledge to review, analyze and comment on financial statements.
Sound knowledge to evaluate all aspects or risk - market, operational and credit.
Ability to conduct project appraisals and due diligence.
Ability to conduct strong quantitative analysis and financial modelling.
