Job Description

To perform and execute the day to day operations of DIFC finance in relation to balance sheet and performance management and in accordance with the defined processes. To work closely with the DIFC Financial Controller and to ensure that all balance sheet, performance management & control activities are performed and executed in accordance with the defined framework, together with utmost accuracy and timeliness.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Balance Sheet Management
*Preparation and circulation of ALCO pack.
*Preparation and circulation of ALMMOD pack.
*Provide support on ALCO issues impacting liquidity, balance sheet management, capital management, FTP, etc.
*Preparation and review of core & non core rates, core & non core balance workings review & core & non core back testing.
*Preparation and analysis of monthly FTP and other internal adjustments;
*Liaison with PSFTP support system team for any changes / update to PSFTP system.
*Work on implementing all Group and local liquidity/ balance sheet related policies.
*Work on various project initiates recommended by ALCO or Group.
*Engage stakeholders on implementation of policies related to liquidity and Balance Sheet including FTP.
*Basel III reporting to Group and DFSA.
*Preparation of comparative analysis between Group and Local LCR & NSFR.
*Ensure coordination with GT on timely submission of LCR & NSFR.
*Work on implementing all Group and DFSA Basel III policies and guidelines.
*Prepare the daily liquidity reports and ensure accuracy and reasonableness before circulation.
Performance Management
*Analysis of financial performance and day to day performance issues.
*Preparation and review of cost analysis.
*Preparation and review of MANCO pack.
*Responsible for any other related work pertained to performance management.
Controls
*Responsible Person (RP) for carrying out KCSAs/KRIs testing for areas related to Financial Reporting and other areas in finance.
*To ensure operation of appropriate controls for all key processes thereby ensuring quality, accuracy and completeness of work performed.
*To ensure that all responsibilities under financial control policies are performed and executed with accuracy, and all issues and concerns are highlighted to the Financial Controller timely and appropriately for closure.
*To ensure that appropriate audit trail is maintained at all times for proper review.
Reporting
*Work as a backup for the DIFC financial reporting manager in the day to day work, regulatory reporting, Group reporting and financial reporting.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

*Relevant experience in finance and banking
*Understanding and working knowledge of IFRS and other applicable regulatory standards such as Basel / Internal Control Standards.
*Requisite knowledge of business products, policies, procedures, etc.
*A confident team player with strong influencing, facilitation and communication skills.
*Strong sense of responsibility and discipline.
*Good communication skills and excellent professional ethics.
*Ability to maintain good relationship and communicate frequently with all stakeholders.
