TAAHEED are currently engaged with the region’s leading Banking group to assist them in attracting the talent of the future. Our client is one of the most recognizable names in the Financial Services industry and is in an enviable position to be able to recruit high-calibre professionals across the business
On the back of strong growth and increased deal pipeline there is a need to hire a high-calibre Analyst within the Project & Syndicated Finance division, working directly with the senior team members. The position will assist in conducting financial due diligence, preparation of high level credit applications and reports and executing transactions across a broad sector range
Key Accountabilities:
Assist in structuring, originating and developing appropriate financing options for identified deals
Appraise, analyze, scrutinize and comment on all information received from client including but not limited to financial statements, management accounts, feasibility reports market research report, valuation report, business report, financial/legal/technical due diligence report
Provide industry inputs and do comparative analysis
Examine credit, market and operational risk aspects of the transactions
Assist in liaising and initiating relationships with local/regional/international banks, consulting firms, investment banks and lawyers
Prepare and recommend credit application for obtaining approval from risk management
Inspire and contribute in business strategy and improvements
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related field from a recognised institution
At least 18 months of relevant front-office Corporate or Investment Banking experience
Strong technical skill-set (quantitative and modeling skills) with exposure in review, analysis and commentary on financial statements
Sound knowledge to evaluate all aspects of risk – market, operational and credit
Knowledge of legal and regulatory environments
Ability to conduct project appraisals and due diligence
Extensive knowledge of banking products and regulations
